Knowing my weakness for baked treats I was so glad to be in the right place when the cake from my coworker's Tuesday night baking class showed up. Quick snap then a large piece off the bow. Exceptional chocolate perfection. Went down well with a cuppa.

Airport foray
Travel is always an adventure. So it was no surprise that budget chose a 5am flight and delays landed me with a 3hr layover in Charlotte.
Large bustling airport in a mood for eggs and I for lunch. California Pizza Kitchen to the rescue. We have become distant over the years. However, that bbq chicken pizza was just what I needed to recharge. The right amount of crunch, tang, and cheese. It helped me through the challenges of travel.

Popaholics Foray
Chocolate dipped Pistacchio gelato with crushed pistacchios rolled up, on a stick. It was delicious, but something was lost in the freezing process. It was missing the luxurious flavor of gelato somehow. I would venture again, but I would not go with expectation of gelato. Perhaps I would liken the texture to more like a frozen custard.

Four Foray
Ok so I've finally tasted the famous four burgers....not impressed. The flavor was middle and the fries room temp. All in all forgettable. Props for the decor and local meats.

Guy Foray
Brunch on a Saturday with fellow FFF contributer Laura. Guy from food network once mad this stop and now we know why. Sheer breakfast perfection.

Kimchi Ramen
Rich and filling. I always want more kimchi and another half of egg. Note: the egg would have been better if it was half boiled before being added. I do doubt that the Cambridge people would have gone for it.
Roast Pork Buns
@ Sapporo Ramen, Porter Square, Cambridge, MA
Pork is delicious with a great crust from being charred. The bun is a bit disappointing and doughy. The hot sauce with the pork take you somewhere magical.
